It's time to invest in "power you can control"!
Since 2018 Jackson Electric Cooperative has been a proud distributor of Generac Generators.
How our installation process works:
1. It all starts with a call!
A customer service representative will ask you several questions to help determine what generator is best for your home. Information is taken and put into our system. Information is grouped by area for scheduling purposes.
2. Consultation
A generator tech will call you to schedule a date and time to meet for a consultation.
3. Installation
The timeline is usually no longer than 3 weeks from consultation to installation, this is dependent on weather, and other factors of course. We do require 100% payment for the generator and installation up front before your job will be put on the schedule. Third-party financing options are available for Generator purchases.
Generator Sizing Information
The standard whole home generators that we keep in stock are the 22kW, 24kW, and 26kW; however, we can special order any size generator, whole home or portable. Currently we do not offer a turnkey generator installation to those who are not on our lines; however, we can work with contractors to assist with the electric portion of the installation.
When comparing 22kW, 24kW, and 26kW Generac generators, the key difference is the power output, with the 26kW model producing significantly more electricity, making it suitable for larger homes or situations requiring more power, while the 22kW is best for average homes and the 24kW falls in between, offering a balance of power and efficiency; all three are air-cooled generators with similar features but varying capacity based on the kilowatt rating. Our generator techs will help you choose the best fit for your home!
